Sta. Clara Power Corporation develops, owns, and operates various hydroelectric power plants strategically located all over the Philippines. SCPC possesses a portfolio of hydropower service contracts and its subsidiaries and affiliates have recently entered into wind energy service contracts and solar energy operating contracts with the Department of Energy.

History

Sta. Clara Power Corporation (SCPC) was established in 2004 as a subsidiary of the Sta. Clara Group, Inc. and an affiliate of Sta. Clara International Corporation which subsequently acquired ownership of the 1.2MW Loboc 1 Hydroelectric Power Plant from the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) in 2005. Through the years of providing clean and sustainable energy, it has continually thrived and accelerated its renewable energy portfolio through actively acquiring run-of-river hydroelectric power plants and developing hydroelectric power projects through engaging into hydropower service contracts with the Department of Energy (DOE). SCPC predominantly focused on run-of-river hydroelectric power generation and have established itself as a renowned developer the field of renewable energy.
